A powerful vision was given me after I was betrayed, and cast out, and found myself utterly alone outside of the church.  And my heart was in anguish, and burning tears ran upon my face, and suddenly through that veil of those tears a vision came upon me and I beheld the vision of that Holy Head.  And I saw the face of that Holy Head marred more than any head, beyond human telling.  And the vision of that visage seized my soul with astonishment and bore away my torment, anguish and grief.

I knew not how I knew, but I knew.  (Blessed is that knowing.)  And my torment was taken away when I beheld the suffering love of that Holy face.  And my grief was stilled when I beheld the suffering love of that holy face.  (You loved me before I knew you.)

And I beheld the wounding of the face of that Holiest Head, and words were given to the lips of my face.  And I spoke, “My God, My God, what have we all done?”  And in that wounding I knew peace; and in that wounding I felt healing; and in that wounding I received forgiveness.  For the vision had power to fill my heart, and power to restore my soul, and power to forever hold my thought.

And I alone saw the true visage of that Holy Head.  And I alone saw the Holiest in the face of that Holy Head.  And I alone saw the eternal blessedness that would crown that Holy Head.  Amen.  (And I knew the blessedness of those who partake of the sufferings of that Holy Head.)

Then I thanked and extolled and magnified that Holiest High One who sits upon His throne for His unspeakable mercy, love and wisdom.  He alone is wise and by His ways are we taught.  How strange His ways!  How secret He!  In love is He known! Blessed are all they who put their trust in Him.
