Greatest Kept Secret

What many bible scholars, teachers, preachers, pastors, DON’T want you to know:

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you ALL THINGS, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (Jn 14:26)

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into ALL TRUTH: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.  All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.  A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.”  (Jn 16:13-16)

“But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and YE KNOW ALL THINGS.”  (1 Jn 2:20)

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye NEED NOT THAT ANY MAN TEACH YOU but as the same anointing teacheth you of ALL THINGS, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”  (1 Jn 2:27)

Therefore, instead of believing the promise of the Father, and allowing the Spirit of Truth to interpret the scriptures of Truth, they rush off to teachers, seminars, courses, books, audios, videos, etc. to interpret the Truth for them.

Thus, they do not see the Truth, but someone else’s interpretation of it.  We are told not to grieve the Spirit and let God be true and EVERY man a liar.

Concerning the teaching of the Holy Ghost

(1)   ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God.

(2)   NO scripture is of ANY private interpretation.

(3)   Scriptures should not be wrested.

(4)   Scripture cannot be broken.

(5)   Scripture explains itself.  The method taught by the Holy Ghost is to compare scripture with scripture.

(6)   The Comforter, the Teacher, who gives truth is… The Holy Ghost!

“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.”  (Mt 11:15)

The Greatest Kept Secret – Part 2

The Spirit says concerning the COMMON salvation: “Earnestly contend for the faith which was ONCE (FOR ALL) delivered unto the Saints!”  (Jd 1:3)

There are NO old present or future additions, subtractions, revivals, denominations (fragmenting the one body), or rediscoveries, improvements, etc.

“Let NO MAN deceive (seduce) you IN ANY WAY.” (2Th 2:2)

No man, no matter who he says he is.  No matter what healing, signs, wonders, or miracles, he does, etc.  (Mt 24:5,11,23-24; Mk 13:6,21-22; Lk 21:8; Ac 2:30; 2Pe 2:2; and Re 2:2, and many others)

I have not found any scripture which speaks of Christians doing miracles in the Last Days.  The only great signs and wonders are performed by the false prophets to seduce the very elect.  Also no mention is made of speaking in tongues, healing, deliverances, or any of the signs that were given to the 1st century Christians. Compare 1Co 4:9 (the LAST Apostles) with 2Co 11:13 (false Apostles – Satan’s Ministers of righteousness)

The testimony of the Gospel given by Christians in the Last Days is for a witness AGAINST councils, churches, kings and rulers.

Millions of deceived professing ‘Christians’ who will end up worshipping the beast (2Th 2:11) because God will send them strong delusion – that a man is God  (2Th 2:4; Re 13:18) – to believe the lie.

That all of them might be DAMNED because they believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness (that is, they believed what they wanted to believe) having loved Another Jesus, Another Gospel, Another Spirit (Ga 1:8; 2Co 11:4) and are accursed.

These FALSE Christians will BETRAY and PERSECUTE the true Born Again Believers who have the spirit.  (Mt 24:10; Mk 13:12; Lk 21:16 (type of); Re 6:10-11)

“Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” (Mt 7:22-23)

That lawlessness is the Spirit of Lawlessness of 2Th 2:8: “The working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders”.

“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.”  (Mt 25:11)

“So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.”  (Mt 20:16)

“WARNING!  Don’t lose your part out of the Book of Life.” (Re 22:18-19)

“HOLD ON!” (Re 3:10) “What I say unto you, I say unto all – WATCH!”  (Mk 13:37)

  1. You are so right on!! It hit me being raise Assembly of God! Why are we different or are we? We speak in tongues then what makes our church and attendees any different? Ninety-Nine percent of the time nothing. We Got It but what does that mean? The “Real Secret” taken from the phenomena of The Secret Project promoted by new-age as Ophrah etc., is the power of the Holy Spirit in the lst century church and present. Did they abandon the power of the Holy Spirit as this generation has? Would the whole world have come to the knowledge of Jesus if they had allowed the Holy Spirit in their lives 24/7? Maybe that is why it has taken so long to reach the whole world…centuries.

You said, “I have not found any scripture which speaks of Christians doing miracles in the Last Days. John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And* whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If we claim this scripture was ONLY for first century Christians, then wouldn’t every promise made after this be only for those of the earliest century? If so, the scriptures that come after verse 13 cannot be claimed by Christians today: 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot* receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Bonnie, well said, teach them the truth, The Manual (Bible)is there for proof well read, good on you. You made my day.

    • The point being made here is that the main work of Christians in the Last Days is evangelism, not miracles. Jesus warned that the greatest end times sign in the last days would be deception. He also warned of the persecution true believers would suffer. He warned of the coming deception when he said “…such great signs and wonders as to deceive the very elect”.

We were also warned in 2 Peter 3:16 not to wrest scriptures, that is cutting out a piece of scripture to promulgate a particular doctrine, but to compare scripture with scripture: “Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” (1 Cor: 2)

During the pandemic, people have suffered persecution and exclusion from pointing out the calendar of signs that Jesus gave in Matthew 24 in which there is no reference made to fire coming down from heaven, angel feathers, or raptures, or any other deceptions. We should be on our guard against being deceived by these signs and miracles which are not necessarily works at all. Or they could indeed be works – but of the devil in order to deceive people.

The original gospel of Jesus Christ was the return of the Son of God, not selling tickets to heaven through God The Son. “He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.” (John 14:24)
