I did some extra research and watched a video of Brian Houston telling his congregation that our God and Allah are the same. Which is nothing short of pure blasphemous heresy. I also noticed that he publicly supports Black Lives Matter, which is a self-proclaimed Marxist movement with strong ties to LGBTQ. This is what I have against Hillsong, regardless of whether their music is biblical or not, it’s made and funded by false teachers. I don’t want to support that.

A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. the accuser of the brethren accuses before God day and night. You say the music industry is corrupt and all the voices are evil. be careful and do not throw the baby out with the bath water. I get it that if these artists become illuminati and will not renounce it There is a serious problem. If you know a particular artist is straying be Biblical and go to them first and talk to them about it. Find out the facts. You may be mistaken? They may discover they are at fault. You must go with love to gently bring another back on track. Did God kick the Psalms out of the Bible because of the many obvious sins of David? Christians these days tend to want to kill their wounded it seems sometimes. Personally I see criticisms of heresy online all the time that are ill advised because they do not follow the biblical process. Heretical and Satanic accusations that are not totally accurate will harm the Body of Christ. Maybe some ministry could have a bad apple here or there but many more authentic anointed Christians are also part of it. How would your life or your church stand up to such scrutiny. Just consider the secret sins in your own lives and the others who occupy the pews regularly. Another consideration, being able to quote all the scriptures does not release you from being also subject to these same scriptures and even more so because you emphasize your higher knowledge so openly.
Have you watched many of Hillsong’s videos because it is difficult to understand how anyone who knows what the Bible says could defend what is going on there? Have you ever read the lyrics of their songs? If false doctrine is put to music, even if the music is beautiful making it quite seductive, it is still dangerous to dance to that tune.
You seem to agree with at least some of what Hillsong do, much of which is clearly wrong by even worldly Christian standards and the Bible tells us that a little leaven ruins the whole lump.
We need to have a right understanding of what the Bible says which is clear – no scripture is open to private interpretation. What is important is what the Bible says, and also the application of what the Bible says.
Scripture tells us not to blindly follow but to test the spirits. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” (1 John 4 KJV) We must also test the spirit with which we instruct others to ensure that we are not also of a similar spirit.
Are Hillsong peddling another gospel and another Jesus? Just as trophy hunters enjoy posting the evidence against themselves in pictures with the animals they killed, and take pleasure in making a show of their own unrighteousnesses, too many videos that Hillsong post themselves are evidence against them.
It’s not a question of who is right, but what is right. God tells us in His Word that all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags, so if we don’t have God’s righteousness we don’t have any righteousness. There is no Hillsong and its defenders’ righteousness.
People are often blind to the fact that the spirit of air is working through the Christian denominations and Hillsong is a prime example of how people are being deceived into departing from the genuine faith.
Deception is above all deceptive and you say they sing from the heart, but God’s word tells us “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jer 17:9 KJV)
Anyway, scripture is cleaer, there is no other name by which men must be saved but the name of Jesus – not the business name of Hillsong or Valleysong or another song or dance – but the name of Jesus.
That may seem harsh, but it is a serious matter. Satan is a master of deception. When we are not glorifying God, but taking glory for ourselves, or doing things that are we are not supposed to do and then not doing things we are supposed to do, then we are in the wrong place. We can lose our hedge of protection – or perhaps we cannot properly apply the armour of God – and can easily come under demonic attack due to opening demonic doorways which is the very real and present danger here.
Jesus said the truth will make you free. It’s only the truth that saves. Truth and mercy is for those who are willing to make changes. Otherwise why should God be merciful?
Lastly, we could easily make a long list of scriptures which apply here, but here are just a few:
“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” (2 Cor 11:13-15 KJV)
“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;” (1 Tim 2:9 KJV)
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. MJS is right to Biblically advise Christians to follow Jesus instructions about correcting a brother who has sinned IN PRIVATE, one on one FIRST, then take one or two others with you and only AFTER those steps, can the sin be public ally (in the church, NOT on social media) aired. Ripping other Christians apart online is NOT what Jesus commanded.
There is Bible precedent for it as Paul mentioned people by name.
Brother, I am speaking to you iwith love wheb I say that you are not following the right way to address these issues. Instead, you are causing hurt and division within the body of Christ. You are confusing people about what God is all about by creating such division among believers. You are finger pointing about what people should wear and do with their hair and calling these young women whores when you don’t even know them or their story. Jesus didn’t act like this, although he did become quite angry with the self-righteous Pharisees who he said violated the very heart of the law with their hypocrisy. In fact, Jesus spent a lot of time with the people who were NOT living righteously, and he saved a woman caught in adultery from being stoned by admonishing those ready to stone her to examine themselves and that he who is without sin be the one to throw the first stone. Jesus is about love and forgiveness and the regeneration of our sinful hearts, not tearing those apart who don’t adopt certain standards…it is the Blood of Jesus that saves us, not our works and any man or woman can err in their ways and be forgiven if they repent and they come to repentance through the leading of the Holy Spirit. You are basically condemning anyone even associated with Hillsong. Do not let legalism and self righteousness deceive you- we are ALL sinners saved by GRACE. In the OT, God sent Hosea to redeem his unfaithful wife who had become a prostitute- God did not have him call her a whore and condemn her because that is not what God does. That is why Jesus died, for all of our sins, including yours. He redeems us as Hosea redeemed his lost wife. Instead of condemning people, start praying for them in your prayer closet where no one else can see.
We are not talking about individual people – believers who could be called brothers and sisters – but false teachers who are leading people astray.
There is no shortage of Bible precedent for calling out false teachers and false prophets.
When one considers the harm false teachers / prophets / leaders can do to people’s lives, that is no wonder.

I am disturbed by the way Billy Graham was put here. He’s human. I’ll tell you, he dedicated his life to the Lord as a teen. He only preached about that Jesus died for us.
Hillsong is about worship. One sin cannot make it bad. We are all human. If sin makes us all a false prophet, then who will be a preacher?
Many people have left Christianity because of the way some Christians condemn each other. The left to Buddhism or some Eastern Religion, New Age, atheism, or worse, Freemasonry, or they started a cult themselves.
If we had not done this way, every one would want to be a Christian.

How can we avoid false teachers unless we know who they are? If the blind lead the blind won’t they both fall into a ditch?
Does the Bible not say that the work of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus – not any human being – even a ‘great’ evangelist. That is not judging – condemning people – because only God decides someone’s ultimate standing with Him.
