A vision came upon me and I saw without in the daylight a great crowd of furious people – I knew not the reason why. And they besieged the chapel. Some where throwing stones at the windows, others were hammering on the heavy doors, shouting as if they had gone mad. Within the chapel was a small company as if out of many different Christian denominations or groups, frightened, shocked, they stared at each other.
They remembered how they had argued and slandered each other, and had neglected to speak the gospel.
Now they realised their error. Now they knew how their enemies had grown so strong and united. Now it was too late. I did not see the outcome.Richard Jon, Messenger
