Due to my involvement with demons through deliverance, I have heard many reports of unusual demon activities in connection with houses and objects.
Books and objects identified with anything related to Satan’s kingdom have been known to attract demons. Sinful activities on the part of former residents account for some houses needing to be cleansed.
Many have told of hearing voices or sounds in their houses. Such manifestations are sometimes called “poltergeist”, a German word meaning “knocking or noisy ghosts”.
What about the owls and frogs? These are classified among the creatures mentioned in Deut. 14:7-19 as being unclean and abominable. They are types of demon spirits.
“The graven images of their gods you shall burn with fire, you shall not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it for yourself, lest you be ensnared by it; for it is an abomination to the Lord your God. Neither shall you bring an abomination (an idol) into your house, lest you be ensnared by it; for it is an abomination to the Lord your God” (Deut. 7:25-26).
Demons are definitely attracted to houses by objects and literature that pertain to false religions, cults, the occult and Spiritism. All such materials should be burned or otherwise destroyed. Houses or buildings which are suspect of demon infestation should be cleansed by the authority of the name of Jesus. Those who live in such places should stand on the provisions of the blood of Jesus Christ. Probably the greatest abomination to God is worshiping other gods in any form such as having an idol in your house.
Notes on witchcraft, symbols and accursed objects (excerpts)
In Satan worship, oftentimes the arms are crossed as a sign of submission to and being bound by the devil. Also a sign of rebellion.
Often good luck charms, ankhs, astrological symbols and other jewellery with hex signs, etc. will cause interference with deliverance. Some objects, particularly rings, bracelets, necklaces and other jewellery which has been given to a person by someone in witchcraft will have curses and/or bondage in them.
There is a resurgence of hex signs, and ancient geometric and mystical motifs which are being incorporated into designs for clothing, jewellery, decorative objects and china. In antique shops there are often selections of rings, pendants, pins and various kinds of jewellery which were originally designed to bring good luck and to act as a talisman to chase evil. Some of the most popular currently include: The Egyptian ankh (a cross with a loop at the top which was an ancient fertility symbol); the ancient witchcraft sign of the broken cross, popularly known as the peace symbol; Chais (consists of Hebrew characters spelling the word life); all kinds of Polynesian tikkis, figures, and other things; a wiggly tail which is called the “Italian horn”; protectors from the evil eye; a hand with the index and little fingers pointing up (a satanic witchcraft sign); and a great variety of crosses, clovers, stars, wishbones, lucky coins, mystic medals, horseshoes and other items.
Another interesting thing is how many times in religious fetishes and statues there is a dangerous resident demon power.
If it is necessary to do an exorcism in a house it is wise to clean the house spiritually afterward, to head off any trouble which might be caused by spirits remaining in the place. (Command the demons to leave the people, house and property.)
A word about incense (excerpts)
Believers must be careful about bringing incense into their homes. Most people are unaware that much of the incense sold in curio and novelty shops was manufactured by devotees of the Hare Krishna cult. Their wares are dedicated to this demon god of the Hindus and can cause much trouble.
Dolls were believed to bring good luck to their owners; to make livestock give more milk; help win wars; and heal the sick. Only witch doctors or medicine men were allowed to handle them.
The dictionary defines a doll as a small carved or molded figure which served as a cult object or representation of a nursery story, cartoon or puppet character.
Both World Book and Britannica point out that dolls were buried with people and were supposed to be friends and servants in the spirit world.
Roman and Greek girls, in preparation for marriage would leave their dolls on the altar of the temples of Artemis and Diana. To this day multitudes of idol (demon) worshipers use dolls in pagan religious ceremonies.
One night when my wife was complaining to me about the child’s insolence, out of nowhere I said, “Her problems are those doll babies! It’s witchcraft!”
The next night while I was praying for someone’s deliverance, she picked up an encyclopaedia to check what it said about dolls! There it was: “origin in witchcraft and magic”.
Baby – seven months old (excerpts)
The Lord began to show us the legal grounds Satan held. It was in his dolls! He had received one for Christmas and a small plastic boy sailor doll at birth. The Lord also told my husband of various stuffed toys (in shapes of animals – whales, dogs and kangaroos), a plastic toy “Big Bird” and matching bib. These were thrown away and curses from them broken. Look for strange sicknesses or diseases that will not heal in children.
When the Lord commanded that “no graven images” were to be made, He wasn’t being cruel and heartless. He knew the damage they could put upon people (Ex. 20:4). The Lord has also shown us that puppets are a deception and the Lord places a curse on those that use deceit (Jer. 48:10).
To exorcize inanimate objects (excerpts)
In the case of objects dedicated to demons (idols, artefacts, etc.), the best course of action is to destroy them. However, it is well to check secondhand cars, homes, and apartments also because if the former owners had Ouija boards, or other occult paraphernalia, or were involved in serious bondage to sin, then there is every reason to suspect that evil spirits could be lingering behind. These spirits can and will cause trouble to the new owners.
Keep in mind that any prayers offered to anyone or anything other than God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit constitute prayers and/or worship to demons. Very often these are answered in the form of curses, for demons can and do respond to those who request of them. If you know of demonic prayers against your family, break the curses placed against you.
We suggest that two Believers go on a mission such as this with Bible in hand. These should be destroyed: Look for little Mexican sun gods, idols, various religious dolls of all; descriptions, incense, buddhas, hand carved objects from Africa or the Orient, Ouija boards, anything connected with astrology, horoscopes, fortune telling, and so on.
Books or objects associated with witchcraft, good luck charms, or the cult religions (metaphysics, Christian Science, Mormonism, etc.), rock and roll records and tapes all fall in the category of things which have been often loaded with evil spiritual power.
Verbally denounce Satan and his power, and all of his demon hosts and claim authority as a Believer-priest because of the name of Jesus Christ and the authority of His shed Blood. There is more power in the spoken word.
Some Scripture which has proven useful in this includes: Rev. 12:11; 22:3; Col. 2:14-15; Gal. 3:13; Deut. 21:23; 32:5; Num. 23:8, 23; II Sam. 7:29. Read out loud in the house.
In some cases the door lintel and window sills have been anointed by touching them with olive oil. Other things such as statues have been so anointed in Jesus name and many times the demonic power is checked or destroyed. Any specific areas of demonic activity or influence of which you are aware should be denounced by name (Prov. 3:33).
Many symbols are of demonic origin: fleur-de-lys – Britannica Encyclopaedia gives this explanation. In India and in Egypt it was common decorating device used as a symbol of life and resurrection, the attribute of the god Horus. The mobile winged horse – Pegasus; FTD’s (Flora Worldwide Delivery) symbol is Mercury or Hermes – the messenger of the gods, god of commerce also god of fraud and cunning. Caduceus the winged wand of Mercury – doctors and the American medical profession. Nike is the goddess of victory (Athena). The cornucopia represents the goat mother
(Amaltheia) who suckled the infant-god in a cave, Zeus is said to have given it to her to insure a plenteous supply of food.
When you read the scripture given at the beginning of this lesson you probably began to feel that all of the gods and goddess and all mythology is a collection of demon worship. Many of the gods and goddess are referred to in the Old Testament by the names the Hebrews would have used. All of them come from the old Chaldean Religion. Tammuz is mentioned in the Bible and the references to groves, temple prostitution etc. is about idle worship or demon worship. Everyone should do a little research into this and discover the original reason for all our holidays and symbols.
Old encyclopaedias are better than late editions because the latter editions leave out much information that is vital to us. Research the meaning of Biblical references to groves, temples, temple prostitutes, and celebrations in both Old and New Testaments. It will open your eyes to the revival of Satan and demon worship in America and to our coming judgement. God did not overlook the Hebrews worship of Satan and the demons and He promises not to overlook ours either.
To really follow God demands that as soon as you learn of something you do or have that is an abomination to God you remove it from your life immediately. Your Christian friends may not agree with you and may criticize you. After you have done you research and have submitted it to God you follow His direction.
Cursed objects and demon infestation
Cast out of people and houses; command all demons to go by these names or associated with these objects.
1. Books and objects identified with anything related to Satan’s Kingdom.
2. Sinful activities of former residents left curses.
3. Knocking or noisy ghosts (poltergeist) and apparitions.
4. Owl and frog images of all types.
5. Witch’s mask and fetishes used by witch doctors.
6. Objects and literature that pertain to false religions, cults, the occult and spiritism.
7. Graven images of gods (demons).
8. Objects dedicated to demons (idols and artefacts).
9. Ouija boards or other occult paraphernalia.
10. Prayers and worship to demons bring curses on home.
11. Mexican sun gods; idols, incense; Buddhas; hand carved objects from Africa or the Orient; anything connected with astrology, horoscopes, fortune telling, etc.
12. Jewellery given to a person by someone in witchcraft, hex signs, ancient geometric and mystical motifs, jewellery designed to bring good luck and act as talisman to chase evil.
13. Egyptian ankh, broken cross (peace symbol), African jujus, Italian horn, protectors from the evil eye, hand with index and little fingers pointing up (horns of Baphomet, satanic salute), crosses, clovers, stars, wishbones, luck coins, mystic medals, horseshoes, religious fetishes and statues.
14. Products with cryptic curses (hidden secret, occult curses).
15. Dolls used for witchcraft and magic; puppets, cult objects or representations.
Five steps to cleaning house
1. Six-way prayer of forgiveness – you forgive your ancestors, descendants and others, ask God to forgive and bless them. Ask God to forgive you; you forgive yourself for sins against your body. Also ask forgiveness for spiritual adultery.
2. Break curses and soul ties from others (ancestors) and to others (descendants); break curses of psychic or Catholic prayers.
3. Clean out house of those objects or exorcize objects (you do this).
4. Anoint house with oil and cast evil spirits out of house (you do this).
5. Cast demons out of people that came in through curses from others (optional); for mass deliverance, see Cursed Objects and Demon Infestation.
Further information: These days there are often many cursed objects in the average home that will give demons licence grounds. Use this list to check home, office, garden, garage, or transport.

Anyone who knows about the destruction that the demonic can cause – which includes illness, destitution and destruction of anything we hold dear, even death – would make surely make some effort to do whatever they reasonably could to remove occult and cursed objects from their home, and if the objects belong to someone else do their utmost to persuade them.
Some occult and cursed objects are – or far worse – worse than others and it does also matter what our attitude is to them, especially how much we value them as objects of a form of idolatry. If someone point blank refuses to dispose of occult and cursed objects and symbols and wants to hold on to them come hell or high water, it may mean they cannot be thinking straight. They may well be under the influence of the demonic who will try and stop people from removing the items which will cut off the hold that they have on the people living in that home.
It is possible that throwing things out could cause great anger which could be as much or more from the demons influencing someone, as they know that will help to break their hold and they are in danger of being evicted which is something they hate. Just as if someone is mentally ill, you wouldn’t want them do something that was harmful both to them and to you and any others in the house or even those who are not living in the house but are in the family.
It is a mistake to think that a Christian, even if he is born again, cannot have a demon or demons. In fact there are deliverance ministers who say that most do have, or that he has never met anyone who didn’t. Certainly that makes sense in terms of only Jesus was without sin. There are many articles on the internet on the subject of can a Christian have a demon along with lists of relevant scripture.
Scripture is quite clear, saying do not bring a cursed thing in your home unless you become a cursed thing like it. It couldn’t be much much clearer than that. God wants us to hate evil like he does. If we want to be truly saved so that we are not in bondage – and addictions etc/ are a sign of this – then we really do need to be obedient to the Word of God and hate what God hates. People can pay a high price for ignoring what the Bible says. It could be that if someone reaches a certain level of understanding and discernment through deliverance, it could be that he naturally does not want to have those objects in the home, feeling a definite revulsion to them rather than an attachment to them.
Quite possibly then the answer is deliverance itself, so that demons are no longer influencing one’s decision-making process and we are being obedient to God’s word which Jesus asked us to do if we loved Him.
Renunciation prayers which are a form of repentance can be found on this site and elsewhere on the internet. These only need to be said once and as they are also a form of repentance, can help greatly with deliverance. Playing an audio Bible and appropriate (not rock or pop type) praise and worship music in the home should also help.
Please can someone give me advice. My husband, who is born again, does not believe that it is wrong to bring any objects relating to false gods or religions into the home. He will not listen when I get upset about the Buddha, Bacchus, a totem, books on mythology, false religions…. He is an artist and also believes that it is fine to have very crude, explicit books on so-called Erotic Art, but which are, in fact, just filthy pornography. He tells me that God does not care about these things; that I am narrow-minded, fundamentalist and conversative. He tells me that it is necessary for him, as an artist to study all things. It seems that the Word of God written in black and white telling us to have not a hint of immorality or obscenity; or telling us to think on things that are pure, holy or good report, means nothing to him.
I am tired of fighting about this. I have prayed and interceded endlessly. Part of me believes that if someone else told him these things he would listen, but because his wife is the one doing the nagging, he digs in his heels!
It is stating the obvious to say that my husband suffers many things; addictions, drink problems, gluttony, depression, low self-esteem, double-mindedness [almost schizophrenic, I would say], confusion, inability to feel close to God…. I could go on and on. When I link these things to what he allows in the home, he becomes more and more stubborn.
I love him so much, and hate to see him suffer this foolishness, and resulting trouble. I know his problems are demonic. He has such a kind, worshipful, evangelical heart, and will speak about the Lord Jesus to anyone. However, he does not grow in his walk with God, and he will happily go from church, straight into drinking.
Here is my question:
What authority do I have in our home to throw out offending objects, thereby incurring the anger of my husband?! I have done it with some items, and he gets angry, but then seems to relent quite quickly.
What authority to I have to anoint these objects with oil and bind up the associated spirits, if it is my husband who allows them in>
What can I do, as the wife, to reduce the spiritual power at work in our home and in my marriage and in my husband, when he, who is the head of the home, allows this breach in our defenses?
Please advise. Thank you so much.
I can see why he has low self esteem. Close your bag of stones, keep praying, let go and let God. He sees and he knows all things.
Thank you. I agree with everything that you have told me. I just cannot submit to him telling me that God is bigger than all of these things, so he is not concerned about them at all. His flaring anger when I try and talk to him about these cursed/filthy things is indicative of the demonic at work! I cannot make him go for deliverance, he keeps saying he will; but is utterly lethargic, and double-minded about whether or not he even believes in deliverance. He promises, but does not follow through. However, I certainly do pray to bind up and silence the demonic that is influencing him.
I have hesitated in getting to work on our home myself, feeling I should submit to his leading, but his leading is taking us into danger, and I now certainly will throw out everything that I can lay my hands on that I know is cursed. There are a few things that I am not able to destroy, but I will anoint them with oil, also anointing the doors. It must be true that I do have some authority in my home, and marriage, even though he is the head.
Why should I, as a born again, Spirit led and filled believer, have to suffer the indignity and danger of idolatrous, cursed things in the home where I am meant to feel at peace?!
That can only work as God meant it to if a husband does submit himself to Christ. Reading the whole of it, rather than just part, this is part of both husband and wife submitting to God.
If your husband refuses to submit to God, then the problems arise from that – especially as he should have authority – and you submitting to your husband won’t work. It may be unlikely to resolve the problems.
James 1:21; 4:7
1 Timothy 2:13
1 Corinthians 11:2–3
1 Peter 3:1
Our suggestion is to have your husband say some renunciation prayers – perhaps along with you. These only have to be said once (aloud) that could provide your husband with some deliverance so that he feels encouraged to go further down the road of deliverance. Whether the deliverance comes before getting rid of the cursed objects or the other way around.
No one in their right mind with the knowledge of the devastation that can be caused by keeping cursed objects in the home would actually do it. So that would indicate that your husband does not understand and appreciate what possession of cursed objects can do.
People believe “God won’t mind – he will understand.” They don’t realize it’s not about ‘what God thinks’ but about demonic licence rights. God has already spoken about this and He doesn’t change his mind.
See Deuteronomy 28 – at no point the NT does it say anything like oh btw it’s ok to keep cursed objects in your home now. Why would it? Why would anyone want those objects in their home? People who say the OT no longer applies, have not adequately studied the NT which makes it clear that it is still relevant.
“ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (2 Timothy 3:16)
Rejection is an important subject and something we all suffer from since we rejected God and in turn became ourselves in a way rejected. There are many ways we can be rejected whether by family, friends, employers, really anyone. Even Jesus Christ Himself was at one point rejected.
There are prayers to renounce rejection and videos both available on Youtube. A Google search will turn up more information:
What the Bible says about rejection
Avoid listening to false teachers such as Joyce Meyer who say some things which are true but mix in sometimes seemingly inconsequential but nevertheless devastating lies. Such false teachers use Christian self-help psychology which is not Biblical, does not provide answers and can be very dangerous.
The Holy Spirit will always glorify Jesus Christ, not people or books, etc. and we were supposed to study and follow the Bible, not other books written by Christians.
Thank you so much. This has been very helpful, and I agree with everything you have advised me to do.
I trust God for complete victory and healing. My husband was somebody who once walked in great faith and obedience to God. He was badly hurt, rejected and criticised by a former pastor/teacher (who then came out as gay and promoted ungodly teaching in a book that he wrote on homosexuality. This same man now lives like an almost Nebuchadnezzar type of character, unkempt, of unsound mind and known in the community as an unhinged nuisance….sad story!] and this resulted in my husband becoming angry, hurt and rebellious.
He slipped back into a life of sin and used harmful behaviour to mask his emotional pain.
But, I believe in the power of prayer and I know that victory is coming! All of this is such a lesson in the blessings of obedience, and the curses that come with disobedience.
As does Angus (Falth Like Potatoes) Buchan who is believed by many to be the only genuine one as he doesn’t focus on money. Nevertheless he must have made a fortune from his book.
People have been known to carry the book “Faith Without Potatoes” with their Bible to church and elsewhere and read from it whenever possible.
There is an excellent article about Angus Buchan on here from someone who knew him personally.
One problem with false teachers and mega churches is that people turn up with any number of different versions of the Bible so when somebody says the Bible says something, many don’t know whether that is true or not. This situation suits the Enemy perfectly and is his version of the Bible Tower of Babel.
The demonic loathes the KJV Bible, it is anathema to them. Playing an audio version of the KJV can help with deliverance, even when it is on very low volume and when there is no one in the room.
I am not sure why someone would do that with his book because Angus Buchan himself is known for his cowboy hat and his Bible under his arm!
The Bible tells us the devil is very cunning and more subtle than any beast of the field. It is not wise to underestimate his deceptive powers.
The key is to check everything against the Bible.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” (1 John 4)
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is NONE other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
No, I certainly do not listen to all the watered down teachings out there! I have never understood how people get sold on these celebrity preachers, devouring all their materials, as if they hold the answers to everything!
I am writing from South Africa, and Joyce Meyer has an enormous following here….
I know that this is an old post; but I just stumbled across your website, and had to comment. At first, I started to become angry at your stupidity and arrogance, but then, I realized that in fact, you must be mentally ill; but in spite of that, I couldn’t help laughing almost uncontrollably at your superstitions and rantings. Frogs? Owls? Rock and Roll? Dolls and stuffed animals? Really? Please get professional help before you do any further damage to the world.
Your post is an example of how easily people can be deceived.
Hey I just came a crossed this while doing some research about cursed objects in my home and my situation sounds a lot like Claudine’s. My husband also says he believes and is saved but has so many addictions like to cigarettes, marijuana, alcohol, pornography, dishonesty, etc.. and isn’t being the spiritual head of our our home and family. He also thinks I’m crazy about believing in the demonic and cursed objects and stuff. We have had a lot of destruction in our family over the last several years and I’ve been really trying to find the root or open door that started it all. Obviously the things he does are open doors to the enemy and so I’m praying hard for the Holy Spirit to shut every door and do whatever it’s going to take to bring him to his knees in total surrender but I’m also searching for cursed objects to rid our home of and wanted to ask your opinion on something. Thinking back to when it seems like things started going bad in our family, my husband and I went to Maui in 2011 for the first time. I brought back a ziplock bag of sand and some shells from the beach. Looking back, I probably shouldn’t have but at the time I didn’t think anything of it. When we got back from Maui my lower back started hurting really bad. I have tried everything from prayer, massage, chiropractor, stretching, etc and it still to this day hurts really bad. We went back to Maui in 2014 and took our kids this time. While we were there we went to a luau (we also went to one during our 1st trip but I’m not aware that there’s anything wrong with that) but this time, we bought a little carved wood tiki guy that a guy there was carving and selling. We bought it and he carved our last name into it. We had some good times on our trip but a lot of bad things also. My husband drank a lot and we fought a lot. When we got home from that trip my husband started going out with his friends and drinking a lot. We had bought my parents house and they hadn’t moved out yet and so it put a huge strain on our marriage and family and anyways he started drinking more than normal and then one night, he got really drunk and tried to commit suicide and totalled the car, then started taking antidepressants but kept drinking and smoking weed and that messed him up really bad and things got worse before they got better. He got into another car accident and he also moved downstairs for almost a year and then I found out he and the office lady at his work were having an emotional affair and just so much stuff was happening. All this was really hard on our oldest son who at the time was 16 so I finally let him move in with his grandparents to get away from everything that was going on and during that time I was really praying and fasting a lot and things have gottten way better, but still not where they need to be. Now our oldest son is really sick and I’m searching for what could even possibly be a cause so I’m trying to “clean house” as well and the things i have questions about are do you know anything about Hawaii and also I guess I am looking for confirmation about getting rid of the carved statue we bought at the luau because now that that’s been brought to my attention I’ve been looking into the Hawaiian culture a little bit and they seem to be carvings of Hawaiian gods or something, even though it wasn’t used in any ceremony or anything I think I should get rid of it, I know he’s going to be really mad but it’s not worth what it seems to be causing in our family. Also, he has a wooden mask kinda like that, that his mom brought him as a souvenir from Mexico. I think same thing with that? His father passed away a few months ago but was very black, I know he has some Polynesia in him but not sure what else, is there anything you would suggest he need to pray to be set free from that would come from their culture? I have Derek Prince’s book blessing or curse. Also, do you happen to know anything about jewelry from Mexico? My mother n law goes there a lot and always comes back with souvenirs and I’m just never too sure about it. Thank you for any help or advice you can give me!
My husband and I are separated because of his substance abuse and his choice if friends. They are bad people and influence him a lot. My family won’t come to our house because they said it was yucky ie felt like it was demonic. In the last year I felt it too, after being there 14 years. It felt like whatever was in the house didn’t want me there. Things my husband said sounded like demons words. My ex husband would do this too. I tried to get his dad to help but it didn’t go well. I got out of the house but he is still there and is very unwell. He is severely depressed and shuts down when I go to see him. I think the drugs he is using shuts of the stem of my he brain and he falls over and convulses so if his mind is empty I think the demons have gotten in. I Dont know how to help him since he won’t let me come to the house. The friend has been telling him to keep me away. I have prayed so much and have left the matter in Gods hands. But I am very worried and its awful. Is there a prayer for this kind of thing?
We can’t pray away someone’s free will, but we are not helpless. ‘Standing in the gap’ or intercessionary prayer can help. We can petition God and the more we listen to God and seek his face, the more our prayers are heard. Some would say a fast could help.
Derek Prince on Intercession Basics
The ethnic type masks are representative of what according to the Bible are false gods. They are objects of idolatry which is basically worshipping demon Gods. The Bible tells us that any idolatry is cursed by God Himself and as such does provide dangerous demonic doorways.
So yes, quite possibly one of the worst things, so it is important to dispose of them as soon as possible by throwing them in the trash or burning them, removing the ashes from the property. This should be without any ceremony, other than afterwards a renunciation prayer for the possession of cursed objects, as linked to below.
Any cursed objects are dangerous to have in your possession precisely because they do provide demonic doorways, giving demons licence grounds to do the things that demons do.
Some cursed objects are worse = or far worse – than others, and the more you have the worse it is. This applies even if you didn’t know that the items were cursed or that they were even there.
Also any object such as jewellery or clothing from a country where there is a lot of idol worship could carry curses. Items are often dedicated to false gods by their makers or directly cursed by them, and therefore they can definitely constitute a cursed object.
There are other renunciation prayers on this site which would also help with deliverance, and more can be found elsewhere on the internet. Renunciation prayers can be very long but they only need to be said once. These prayers are mainly about repentance, and they do give deliverance.
Prayer to Renounce Cursed Objects
Thank you so much!
Do you know anything about Russian nesting dolls?
Dolls (“i-dols”) are strictly speaking all classed as cursed objects but to a greatly varying degree which depends on what type and what they represent, etc.
What’s the Story Behind Nesting Dolls
Ok, I just burned the Russian nesting dolls. My grandparents had brought them back from Russia and then my parents had them for awhile and then gave them to me a few years ago. I also burned the mask and carved idol from Maui. I’m going through everything and just realized something. My boys did Muay Thai kickboxing for awhile and they would have to do this thing called the wai kru and also bow and say something to their trainer. I never thought anything about it back then (a few years ago) but now I see the symbols on their old kickboxing clothes and it made me realize this isn’t good. I’m gonna throw it all away. One of my boys also did Krav Maga when he was younger too. What do I need to do to break them free from any torment coming from their involvement in this? I’m assuming I should get rid of anything they had from it and do you have a prayer for it? Also, when my husband was a baby his mom had him dedicated in a Catholic Church and she gave us the christening outfit he wore. Should I also get rid of that?
The best way would be to adapt one of the prayers to renounce reiki and martial arts, etc. by going through and changing it accordingly beforehand. As you have authority as their mother, you could say the prayer on your sons’ behalf. It may be better if they could also say it themselves.
There are many good Christians who are Catholics, but Catholicism itself and any Catholic paraphernalia including clothing would be cursed to one degree or another. This can be backed up with Bible references.
A Christening gown has to be less cursed – if at all – than so than many other things such as pictures, relics, jewellery, etc.
It is worth mentioning here that clothes can carry curses and the Bible does mention that we should hate even the garments spotted by sin.
Ok thank you. Yeah, the gown is the only thing she had I guess. My husband has a rosary that was his grandmothers and he brought it home when she died. I hate that he has it here, but he would be extremely mad if I got rid of it. He doesn’t wear it but it’s here. He actually went to catholic school for a couple years and so he doesn’t see what the big deal, or the difference is. He just thinks Catholics are Christians too
Many Catholics are good Christians, but nevertheless the Catholic church itself is very corrupt. It is the Catholic church that was behind the Crusades, and burning witches, etc. There are a number of references in the Bible which are clearly referring to Catholicism.
Jesus Himself said: “Call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven” and “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they. shall be heard for their much speaking.” (Catholics often use repetitions in prayers such as with “Hail Mary”).
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

Thank you, I will keep praying for his eyes to be opened to the truth.
What would you say about having money from other countries because of what may be on the bills?
I’m not sure if I worded that correctly. Maybe a better way to ask that question would be to ask if it’s bad to display, or even have, foreign currency from turkey or Egypt because there seem to be false gods on them.
Actually I found my answer. I skimmed through my Derek Prince book again.
Quite possibly, as the Bible calls it ‘filthy lucre’ and says the love of money is the root of all evil.
What about an antique Chinese camphor wood chest? It doesn’t seem to have anything bad on it, it’s just an oriental wood carved trunk but I’m not sure about it…haven’t been able to find anything on google…
That would depend on what the carvings are and, if there is any Chinese writing there, what it says. For example, a pagoda or its image, as beautiful as they are, will be cursed. Wikipedia states: “The pagoda’s original purpose was to house relics and sacred writings.” Those writings would not have been Christian, but Buddhist or Shinto, etc.
Cursed symbols are often hidden, and if in doubt and the item is not of great value somehow, surely when it comes to giving demons licence grounds, bearing in mind the devastation they can cause, it is far better to be safe than sorry.
Also in the item itself, if the worker/s who made it were of a pagan religion, it is not unusual to dedicate their work to their gods, or to work what are effectively curses into the item, whatever it is.
To keep this in perspective, there are freemasonry (especially Catholic and Knights Templar etc.) type objects in many Christian churches. Nevertheless it has to be better to avoid potentially cursed objects, particularly when it comes to idolatry.
Deuteronomy 7:25-26 is clear: “The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God. Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, LEST THOU BE A CURSED THING LIKE IT: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.”
To those who say that the Old Testament no longer applies, although clearly many of the Judaic and other laws do not apply now, where God has said that he detests something, that is unlikely to have changed, as scripture tells us that God does not change but remains the same.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Tim 3:16-17)
Thank you so much, I agree with you, better safe than sorry. My parents gave it to me and it looks cool but I just am unsure about it. I think I’ll pray about it a little more but probably get rid of it. I appreciate all your help. It’s crazy how many things the Holy Spirit has pointed out that I hadn’t thought anything of. My son drew a picture of a dragon at school and it’s been up on his wall for a couple years and I never thought anything of it and then a couple days ago it stuck out like a soar thumb, lol. I took it down and burned it. He was in 1st grade when he drew it and it seemed harmless
Yes, and if it is red, it is the worst. These days there are all sorts of things available – which are sometimes very cute or otherwise attractive – with owls, frogs and dragons, skulls, etc. on them. “Harry Potter” is among the worst. Naturally the demonic is keen that people have cursed objects in their homes, and hide occult symbols everywhere, to provide them with licence grounds. That is why we see so many owls, dragons, frogs, skulls, unicorns or whatever other mythical creatures, fleur-de-lys, paisley and hidden 666 symbols. (The writer had a ethnic tradecraft lamp for many years which had been a gift before realising the pattern on it was a cleverly designed 666.)
My son (the whole class) just made owls out of clay and painted them. I’m kinda torn because obviously God created owls, so I don’t want to be extreme, if you will, and assume it’s bad and throw it out…
It’s not the owls themselves that God made, but figures of them. Figures of owls are traditionally used in satanism since antiquity. Google shows that Bohemian Grove – which is well known as a place where many well known people congregate including many US presidents who are actually satanists – use owls as their emblem, on their stationery, etc.
On the grounds of Bohemian Grove there is an altar where they are said to carry out human sacrifices presided over by a 40 foot owl and that can be seen on google. (The claim is they are now only mock sacrifices but it is believed they are actually not mock, and never were, but real.)
We went to Wales a couple of years ago and picked up some souvenirs…their national symbol is a red dragon!
Owls as an illuminati symbol
Owls as a symbol in satanism
Oooh, ok. That makes sense!
Am i supposed to get rid of my dollar bills well?
There is a tiny owl on the back, the pyramid, the eye…and we all know what they represent…
The love of money is the root of all evil (1 Tim 6:10) but in this world we need it to get by.
